Unfortunately we still have yet to hear Avery Storm’s debut album, but the good news in 2010 was we got a very solid mixtape from him. The Heatmarkerz produced “It’s Not Over” was the standout track from the mixtape.

The biggest controversy in r&b in 2010 arguably goes to Erykah Badu for the video to “Window Seat” where she stripped naked in public during the filming. Controversy aside, the song is actually very good.

Although we didn’t get an album from Marsha Ambrosius in 2010, we did get a mixtape and two singles including this one which should carry her well into the new year. Expect “Late Nights and Early Mornings” early in 2011.
