Jhene Aiko is an artist formerly signed to Chris Stokes’ T.U.G. imprint alongside her label-mates B2K in their glory days. Singles and promotional tracks were pushed as well as some features on soundtracks and compilation albums but her “debut” album never was released. On March 16th, Jhene dropped her mixtape entitled “sailing soul (s)” that features some great production (Fisticuffs, Bei Maejor) and collaborations (Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Miguel). Here is a haunting track from her mixtape and personal favorite.
