I’ll admit that when I first listened to this song, I didn’t like it at all because the song didn’t go anywhere; It just stayed in one zone which made the song boring to me. However, after listening to it a couple of times, the track really began to grow on me. Ryan Leslie put together a very simplistic beat, but listening to it really puts me in a trance of some sort. And of course JoJo’s voice worked perfectly with the beat. I still can’t believe it’s been 5 years since JoJo’s last album.
I love this album. I would even go as far to say that the album is perfect, however I do not like the song “The Way You Do Me” I feel (on that track) she is trying to hard to be urban. He first album was really urban w/ a light pop feel, but it was not forced. There is such a big voice in this little girl. It’s a shame when record companies do not know how to market real talent.
