Last night in NYC, Joe performed for a packed house at B.B. King’s. We’ve had a chance to see him perform a few times over the years, but this time he came with a whole new set list which sounded fresh. In addition to his hits from over the years which of course fans come to see, Joe is known for mixing in a few popular album tracks as well, which he did on this occasion. On this evening, he took fans on a journey through his career spanning 9 albums, taking it back to songs like “Good Girls”, “The Love Scene”, “Treat Her Like a Lady”, and “Let’s Stay Home Tonight” to his mega hits like “I Wanna Know”, “Stutter” and “All The Things Your Man Won’t Do”. He also performed songs from his latest album “The Good, the Bad, The Sexy” including opening with our personal favorite “Time of Your Life”. Overall, it was a very solid show once again from this r&b legend.
