“When You’re Mad” is a perfect example of that. Often times when I listen to a Ne-Yo song, I’m left thinking “damn, those lyrics are REALLY creative!” Even when he writes a song for someone else, if you listen closely to the words, you can usually tell it was written by him. Although I wouldn’t consider a song from 2006 a classic, I’m sure Ne-Yo’s music will one day be considered classic.
