Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Maya Azucena premieres the video for the single “Cry Love” today. Shot at the Rebel Diaz Arts Collective in the South Bronx by Director Mark Carranceja of Noisemaker Media, the clip conveys the song’s socially consciousness themes and Maya’s sensitivity towards the many horrible misdeeds there are in this world. The chorus echoes, “If Justice had wings, She would sing, Cry Love in everything.”
“Cry Love” is the title track to Maya’s recently released full-length from her new imprint label, Azucena Songs, distributed by Half Note Records/ADA. With a mixture of live Soul, Hip-Hop and Rock, the album represents a powerful journey that distills the universal themes of love, survival and hope into 11 unforgettable tracks.
