Tom of YouKnowIGotSoul.com made a recent appearance on the NPR station 1A to discuss how R&B Music has evolved over the years. We had the honor of being tapped by the legendary station to share our opinions, viewpoints, and expertise on the R&B genre. The show was recorded and broadcast live and included guest participation.
Along with host Joshua Johnson, we were joined on the panel by former music executive Naima Cochrane and Gabrielle Goodman, a professor of music in the voice department at the Berklee College of Music. The spirited discussion centered around how each of us have seen R&B change over the past few decades, and where the current landscape of the genre remains at now.
