Last night in front of a packed house, Luke James performed at SOBs in NYC. The show was opened by Alice Smith, Ro James, and special surprise guest Bridget Kelly who came out to support and perform her new single “Special Delivery”. Luke was also introduced by Sway and his manager Frank Gatson, who has been with Luke on this journey since he was still a teenager. Performing on the day that his new free album “Whispers in the Dark” released, Luke celebrated by premiering music from the album. He took the crowd through “Hurt Me”, “Oh God”, “Strawberry Vapors and “Mo Better Blues”. Additionally, he performed his new single “Make Love to Me” potentially for the first time since it’s release last week. In addition, he also expressed his gratitude for his single “I Want You” being nominated for a Grammy. Just like with every Luke James show we’ve been to, he left everything on stage to the point where he catches the holy ghost; and the audiences loves it. We’ve been covering Luke James for a couple of years now, and it’s been a fun ride watching his rise to stardom; tonight was just another step in that path.
