Soul singer PJ Morton continues to ride the high of his album “Gumbo” released last year. Not only was the project nominated for a Grammy Award, but he also decided to record an unplugged version of the album which was livestreamed earlier this year.
During the set, he was joined by BJ The Chicago Kid, Lecrae, and The Hamiltones, and also backed by a full orchestra. You can get a taste of that in the visual he just released for the song “How Deep is Your Love”, originally recorded by The Bee Gees.
This version will be included on a full album he’s releasing from those sessions called “Gumbo Unplugged” which will come out on March 9th.
