Jill Scott has been in the news recently following her departure from Hidden Beach Records and with the announcement of her new deal with Warner Bros. Her plan is to now release her fourth solo album “The Light of the Sun” in the early summer and the first single from that album is “Shame”. The collaboration features fellow Philly native Eve, who she first collaborated with nearly a decade ago on the original version of the Roots “You Got Me” (Erykah Badu ended up singing on the final version).
