Rnb group The Amours premiere their brand new single, the feel good song “Smile”. Following months of anticipation, the powerhouse vocalists are ready to “smile and spread some love” with the release of “Smile”. The feel-good song shows off the group’s beautiful harmonies, all while embodying the very core of their music. The group added about the song:
“When ‘Smile’ was written, it came from a place of realization. Realizing that things happen in our lives that we cannot control, so just smile because it’s apart of the makings of you, and it’s only going to make you stronger!”
You may remember the DC based group, made up of sisters Jakiya Ayanna (21) and Shaina Aisha (17), for serving as the opening act for the finale of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Reality Show” tour. In fact, Jazmine has become a mentor and friend to the group, and has worked closely with them ever since.
Both are beneficiaries of training from Duke Ellington School of The Arts, and are very passionate about life and the performing arts. Following the release of their debut EP “Rhythmic Love” last year, they continue to hone their craft and remain poised for further success.
Additionally, the group will be performing in the upcoming April 20th show of our Sol Village event at SOB’s.
