Who knows where hip hop would be today if Big Pun were still alive. As he said on today’s Classic Hip Hop Song of the Day, “The way I kept it real is more important than any record deal.” It’s a true statement, and he certainly wouldn’t have let most of these garbage rappers today do their thing without putting his foot down.
