“Informer” is the 1993 number one hit single by Canadian Reggae Singer Snow. Interestingly, the song was released before he was to serve a one year sentence in prison, and didn’t become a hit until after he was released. The song talks about the role of “Informers” or what are now commonly referred to as “snitches.” Snow would not see much more success in his career, with only 1 other of his singles charting in the billboard hot 100 over the course of 6 albums. In other words, a one hit wonder.
