What always made me really like this song is the way Mariah switches up her singing to match the Bone Thugs uptempo melodic flow. Although it might not appear so now, this collaboration was actually unique for the fact that Mariah had primarily been an adult contemporary singer at the time, and a collaboration with a hip hop group like this shocked some people. Although she has admitted to loving this song, there is a rumor it wasn’t included on her “Greatest Hits” in 2001 because of the personal breakdown she suffered shortly prior to that.
