Shai shook the world with the release of their debut album “…If I Ever Fall In Love.” propelled by the success of their classic first single “If I Ever Fall In Love,” the album went 3X Platinum and brought a whole new vibe to R&B. “Comforter” was the second single from the album, it wasn’t as successful as the first single but it definitely is a classic piece of work. I cant remember the last time that I saw a real male R&B group go Platinum since Jagged Edge and 112. I’m not sure where or when male groups lost their edge but we need some new ones fast. There is nothing like the melodies that you get from a solid Trio or Quartet.

How do you feel about their track “Baby I’m Yours”? IMO, it’s Shai’s greatest track, and actually my personal favorite track of all time, any genre, any era! You should post it. You may or may not remember this, but they actually made a cameo on Family Matters performing that track! True story!
