Last night at the Best Buy Theater in NYC, Brandy performed for her Album Release concert before a sold out crowd. The show was opened by Hal Linton and Bridget Kelly. Bridget, performing at home in NYC, excited the crowd as she went through songs from her “Every Girl” EP including “Thinking About Forever”, “Seek and Destroy” and “In the Morning”. She ended her set by performing her new smash “Special Delivery”. She mentioned that it was a dream come true of hers since she was a child to open for Brandy. Next, as the crowd anxiously waited for Brandy to perform, the DJ played multiple Aaliyah songs in a row which definitely set the tone for her to come out. She delighted her fans taking them through hit after hit as they sang and danced along without missing a beat. Then in the middle of her set, Brandy performed a tribute to her late idol Whitney Houston. After performing a few Whitney Houston songs, she asked the crowd to join her in a moment of silence for the late legend. Next, mid set, to everyone’s surprise she brought out Luke James and allowed him to shine while performing his single “I Want You”. After she came back out, she wrapped up her set with some fan favorites as well as the new singles “Put It Down” and “Wildest Dreams” before closing down the show.
