In promotion of the release of her new album “Better”, Chrisete Michelle hosted a listening party and acoustic set with choice selections from the project at the Motown Offices in NYC. With label staff and press in attendance, and her band alongside her, she performed special acoustic versions of “Better”, “Rich Hipster”, “Love Won’t Leave Me Out”, and “A Couple of Forevers”. In addition, she played a few of her other favorites from the album and discussed the process of creating the album, including her happier approach this time around. From the sound of things, this is shaping up to be her best release to date, and potentially the album of the year so far.
