There’s no discounting the fact that Phil Collins had a huge impact on the r&b community and influenced many of today’s biggest names. In return, some of the best in r&b created this tribute album with their interpolation of many of Collin’s hits called “Urban Renewal.” One of my favorites from that album is Brian McKnight’s version of “I Wish It Would Rain Down.” Not only does he go a great job covering the song, but the Neptunes also do an amazing job covering the beat with their signature sound.
