This song was actually recorded by Tamia when she was only 18 and appeared on Quincy Jones’ “Q’s Jook Joint” album in 1994. All in all, Tamia has had a pretty successful career, landing two number 1 r&b singles over the years with “Spend My Life With You” (a duet with Eric Benet) and “Into You.” Each of her four solo albums have been very solid in my opinion, and I’m anxiously awaiting her next effort.
