Damn, where has THIS Monica been for, oh I dunno, the past TEN YEARS! Although her story is well chronicled on her BET show “Still Standing,” we haven’t heard her sing on tracks like this since the late 90’s. In fact, in a recent interview she confirmed that she would like to make more songs like her hits from that era “Why I Love You So Much” and “Angel of Mine” which is great news for real r&b fans. Although it’s only a little over 2 minutes long, “Everything to Me” is definitely a great start in that direction!
