Obenewa has just released a new song “Save Me” which was produced by Machinedrum. The new single follows previous song releases such as “Marshmallow”, “He” and “Solid Gold,” set to be included in an EP release this October. Speaking about the collaboration, Obenewa says; “Machinedrum heard the a cappella, so we sent him over the parts and he did his incredible production magic to it. Save Me, is a song I wrote about my self doubt and my over-thinking my personal life, and Machinedrum’s lively 808s perfectly offset this”. Obenewa grew up in West London and is classically school on the piano, calling Mary J. Blige and Donny Hathaway influences.
