After re-releasing his groundbreaking album “Bartholomew” via Def Jam Records late last year, Jesse Boykins III has just released the stunning visual for single “Earth Girls”. Featured in the video is a standout cameo from actress Rosario Dawson, which nearly didn’t happen.
After beating some serious traffic on the way to the set, she arrived just in time to add her line at the end of the video: “We found you, we’re so happy you’re here.”
The visual was directed by Christine Yuan, and the intention was to capture many different women in their natural state. Boykins always has a flair for creating visual masterpieces, and it’s no different on “Earth Girls”.
