It’s pretty much public knowledge by now that JoJo has been hard at work on her new album for three years now. With so much news about problems between her and her label, I’m glad a JoJo album is inching closer and closer. The album once known as “All I Want Is Everything” will now be titled “Jumping Trains” which represents her transition from being a teenager to a young adult. JoJo also announces that she is in the process of shooting a new music video and will come out with a new single soon.
I’m actually excited that JoJo will finally return to the music scene, but I’m not holding my breath for it due to the fact that we’ve heard numerous times before that her album was coming just to find out that the album was being pushed back due to label politics. I hope everything works out for her this time around because it’s undeniable that she is one of the most talented young singers in the game. Something I can’t wait to hear is the growth and direction of her new album. She hasn’t had an album out in nearly five years, so it will be interesting to see if she stays with what has worked best for her so far (poppish R&B songs) or venture out to this new Lady Gaga sound that’s going on right now. Also, how will people react when she starts singing about subjects related sex? Most of the public remembers JoJo as the young teenager.
