Legendary r&b group Dru Hill brought the nostalgia last night as they opened the 2016 Soul Train Awards. Although Jazz was absent initially, Sisqo, Nokio and Tao picked up the slack to perform many of the group’s biggest hits.
Things began with “Tell Me”, then went to the “In My Bed” So So Def remix. Jazz eventually joined the group to perform “Beauty”, while Sisqo followed with his solo smash “Thong Song”. The peformance served as a great reminder of one of the greatest rnb groups of the 90’s, even though they havent had a new album since 2010.
Also today, Dru Hill released their first single in over six years called “Change”. The socially conscious anthem helps celebrate the group’s 20th anniversary and will lead to a new album and tour.
