I remember when this song first hit the airwaves, a lot of people were upset that she used some lyrics from Aaliyah’s “Rock The Boat” and it hadn’t been too long since she passed. In actuality, Kiley was paying homage to Aaliyah and others in the song, saying she wants to make hits just like them. In the end, her career got off track and she never did have the opportunity to make those hits.
