Last night at the upscale Lamb’s Club restaurant in Midtown NYC, YouKnowIGotSoul was on hand for a networking mixer hosted by Atlantic Records. Sevyn Streeter was on hand to mingle with guests and discuss her recently released “Shoulda Been There, Pt. 1” EP. We’ve been supporting Sevyn for years now, including interviewing her several times and covering a few of her shows, so it was all love when we got to chop it up with her once again. We got a chance to share with her a few of our favorites from the EP, including “Consistent” and “Just Being Honest”, and applauded her for her continued creative songwriting. Sevyn was very grateful for the support and even us some hints about her upcoming debut album. As an added bonus, she posed for a fun mini photoshoot right in the restaurant!
