Victoria Monét has just released the full stream for the Nightmares & Lullabies: Act II EP on iTunes on June 16th. The acclaimed singer/songwriter (credits: Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Jordin Sparks’ “Double Tap,” MGK’s “A Little More”) has shared several singles over the past month, which have each received a warm welcome.
The EP is executive produced by Tommy Brown, whose credits include T.I., Travi$ Scott, and 2 Chainz, as well as MGK’s aforementioned “A Little More” single. With additional production by Mr. Franks and Travis Sayles, the Act II EP features T.I., and follows Nightmares & Lullabies: Act I EP, which released late last year and included guests Ty Dolla $ign and B.o.B. “Nightmares & Lullabies is a metaphor for the juxtapositions ones life can display – bad days vs the best ones and how they can play off of each other,” told Billboard in their premiere. “It also describes my sound. My voice represents the lullaby, and the tribal undertone in the music is dark like a nightmare.”
