Yesterday at Terminal 5 in JFK Airport, Emeli Sande performed a unique show as part of Jet Blue’s “Live from T5” series. Already a huge star in her home in the UK, tonight was another example of why it’s only a matter of time before she blows up in the U.S. To the delight of her fans in attendance and astonishment of travelers passing through the airport, Emeli showed off her flawless vocals while performing songs from her debut “Our Version of Events”. She effortlessly went through songs like “Heaven”, “Breaking the Law”, “Daddy”, “Wonder” and “Next to Me” while making the whole airport feel like they got a free ticket to a great concert. Emeli will be interesting to watch over the next few months as she continues to push her debut here in the U.S., and we have a good feeling she’ll quickly become a household name.
