To coincide with the release of her upcoming album “Worthy”, veteran songbird India Arie has just announced a tour to support the project. “Worthy” is the first full length album from India Arie in five years, and is set to release on February 15th, 2019.
The tour will begin on April 30th in Jacksonville and run throughout the Summer, including stops in Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, New York, and more. The album will be available for free with ticket purchase in select markets.
Arie most recently released the moving single “What If” last week, and the song is available to fans who pre-order the album.
“Worthy” is the seventh studio album from India Arie, and it is her most textured and lively work to date; an intuitive, multi-layered effort from a mature artist at the top of her creative powers. The singer previously released the album’s lead single “That Magic”, and it currently sits within the Top 10 at Urban A/C radio.
Credited for creating some of the most thought-provoking songs of her generation, India continues to uphold the standard for singer/songwriters as a messenger for love, hope, and compassionate humanitarianism. She plans to showcase songs from the new album on her upcoming tour, sharing their compelling narratives as she continues to expand the canvas of her spiritual and lifestyle mission that has made her one of the most in-demand performers and speakers in the wellness space.
