Tangina Stone Wasn't Love Cafe

Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Tangina Stone today releases new single “Wasn’t Love Cafe” on Feel Up Records; now available on iTunes. Feel Up, owned by Jillionaire of Major Lazer, signed the singer in July.

Written by Stone and produced by friend and collaborator Ted Birdie, the bittersweet love song speaks to learning what love is supposed to feel like, only after experiencing a volatile, unhealthy relationship. “Love should always be done wholeheartedly,” says Stone.

Says Jillionaire, “We’re really excited to have such a talented singer and songwriter join our team. We all need a soul that rocks and Tangina is it. We are looking forward to developing her sound. ”

Though a new artist, as a songwriter Tangina’s music has seen commercial success. Her music has been placed in TV One’s Hollywood Divas and VH1’s Love & Hip Hop. She’s opened for the legendary Carole King and has a local monthly residency at C’mon Everybody in Brooklyn. Tangina is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2014’s “The Fall” and prepping for her East Coast tour this fall.
