Beyonce has decided to drop a surprise music video for her new single “Formation”. The Hip Hop driven beat is produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and follows the same blueprint sonically as Beyonce’s last single “7/11”. There’s no doubt that a lot of the lines in this song will end up being memes on the internet including “When he f**k me good I take his ass to Red Lobster”. This, of course, is not the first time she’s surprised us with new music as she put out an entire album out of nowhere back in 2013.

She has been reported to be in the studio working on the follow up to her surprise self-titled album which was led by the smash hit “Drunk In Love”. There hasn’t been a lot news regarding her new album, but we expect it to be a an epic moment like it always is with Beyonce’s releases.

You can catch Beyonce today during Coldplay’s performance at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. Though nothing has been confirmed about the performance, expect “Formation” to be presented in some way during the show.
