The theme so far for R&B Music in 2016 is it has been a very slow year for releases. Whereas the years leading up to this one had seen a pretty good amount of releases each month, this year can’t seem to get much momentum going. In May, we had three quality artists release albums; JMSN, Slim of 112 and Ro James’ debut project.
For June 2016, we have just one album. Fantasia was also supposed to release her latest album “The Definition Of…” this month, but it appears that’s now been pushed by to July. So, Chrisette Michele stands alone.
