Last night at Engine Room Audio recording studios in New York City, eOne Entertainment hosted a listening event for Case’s upcoming album “Heavens Door”. As guests were treated to champagne, Case and his manager JoJo Brim took to the mic to introduce the new project. Speaking on how the album is a labor of love, they expressed their goal was to create a timeless body of work. Case then introduced each track before playing it, and we really got a chance to hear his vision come to fruition. The lead single “Shook Up” is a great indication of what you can expect on the rest of the album; some grown 90’s influenced r&b that is a truly respectable edition to Case’s catalog. It’s been 6 years since his last album, but as you’ll soon hear, Case is sounding as good as ever. “Heavens Door” is set to release March 31st on eOne Entertainment.
