Shazam Conner Back It Up For Love Remix

R&B vocalist and founding member of the platinum-selling group H-Town, Shazam Conner, has officially released the remix to his solo track, “Back It Up For Love.” Released via Shazam Music Inc. and So, Let’s Talk Ltd., the track seamlessly blends traditional R&B with rich Southern Soul and Country influences.

The remix arrives during a massive surge of viral momentum for the record. To date, the song has generated over 13 million views on TikTok, surpassed 164,000 streams on Spotify, and peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes R&B/Soul chart.

Created as a celebration of commitment and enduring love, “Back It Up For Love” addresses the importance of choosing a partner despite the inevitable challenges that arise in a relationship. The newly released remix expands upon this thematic foundation, introducing a heavier Country and Southern Soul lean while preserving Conner’s signature R&B vocal stylings.

“The song means we will stay together no matter what, because everybody has problems,” Conner shared.

He noted that his hope is for the record to inspire listeners to fight for their relationships while still finding time to dance and celebrate together. In tandem with the song’s growing TikTok presence, an official line dance was created by choreographer Denise “Lady D,” which is featured prominently in the campaign’s visual assets.

Extending the track’s core message beyond music, Shazam Music Inc. has launched the “Everybody Got Problems” Giveaway. The initiative invites fans to submit a video detailing a personal challenge they are currently facing and explaining why they should be selected to receive a $2,500 cash prize.

As the single continues to resonate across R&B, Southern Soul, and Country demographics, a major radio airplay campaign is scheduled to launch in the coming months.

The “Back It Up For Love” Remix was co-written by Shazam Conner, Patrick Postlewait, Phillip Lynah Jr., Demetrices Thomas, and Royce Monroe. Production duties were handled by Patrick Postlewait, Twnty47, Jalen Thomas, and Phillip Lynah Jr.

Conner’s ongoing solo run builds upon a three-decade legacy as a founding member of H-Town, the group responsible for defining ’90s R&B hits like “Knockin’ da Boots,” “Emotions,” and “Part Time Lover.” Since officially launching his solo career in 2023, Conner has secured four Billboard-charting releases, including the Top 30 Adult R&B Airplay hit “Strokey Doke” and the Bobby V-assisted 2024 single “Weekend.”

With his latest release, Conner continues to boldly expand his sound, successfully bridging his legendary musical past with a new generation of listeners.

“Back It Up For Love (Remix)” is available to stream and download now across all major digital platforms.
