Musiq Soulchild Preps New Album Following Releases of The Husel and Purple WondaLuv
Following the releases of his alternate persona’s The Husel and Purple WondaLuv, Musiq Soulchild will soon return with a new album of his own. In a tweet sent out from his official account yesterday, he confirmed that he’s back in the studio at work on the new project. It had been reported in the past that Musiq had signed with Warryn Campbell and his My Block record label in a partnership with eOne, so for now we’ll guess that will be the home of the new album. It’s been over four years since Musiq put out an album, releasing “MusiqInTheMagiq” on Atlantic Records back in 2011. He also did a collaborate project with Syleena Johnson called “9ine” in 2013. Stay tuned as more details emerge about the new album from Musiq Soulchild.
