Acclaimed British singer-songwriter Daley has announced a new strategic partnership with The SRG/ILS Group to release his long-awaited third studio album. The Manchester-born artist, recognized globally for his distinctive falsetto and “soul-bearing” songwriting, will release the upcoming project through his own TEXX7 Records imprint.
The new body of work is expected to expand upon Daley’s alternative-R&B and soul foundations, introducing a broader sonic and conceptual range. Claude Villani, President and CEO of The SRG/ILS Group, described the artist as an “amazing talent,” noting that the upcoming release will define “what the future can be” for the genre.
Daley first emerged through London’s underground music scene before establishing himself as a fixture on the global R&B stage. His career is marked by several high-profile collaborations and chart successes, including:
“Doncamatic” (2010): Featured vocalist on the hit single by the Gorillaz.
“Alone Together” (2014): A massive R&B hit featuring Marsha Ambrosius.
“Until The Pain Is Gone” (2017): A successful collaboration with soul legend Jill Scott.
Throughout his career, Daley has also worked with industry icons such as Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, and Nile Rodgers. His artistry has garnered recognition from the Grammys, BET, Soul Train Awards, and the MOBO Awards.
The singer expressed strong alignment with his new partners, Walter Millsap III and Claude Villani, citing their “genuine understanding of the craft”. Daley is currently finalizing the album, which is set to feature a new roster of collaborators and a vocal quality he suggests is often missing in the current musical landscape.
“It’s exciting to partner with a team who see the creative vision and have the energy and expertise to help me elevate it,” Daley shared.
Specific release dates and lead single titles for the new era are expected to be announced shortly.
