When EOS announced it was sponsoring a series of Roc Nation shows featuring Melanie Fiona, Bridget Kelly, and Elijah Blake, it was touted as a mini tour. After having a chance to watch the NY stop, this might have have been better off being called a coming out party! We’ve had a chance to cover each of these three future stars over the past few years, and although Melanie Fiona has already reached great heights, it’s great to see what Bridget Kelly and Elijah Blake have achieved. Elijah opened the set, performing songs from his critically acclaimed “Bijoux 22” EP, including “X.O.X.”, “Birdz”, and “Talk to Me”. Next up was Bridget Kelly, who showed masterful stage presence while performing her latest singles “Special Delivery, “Street Dreamin”, as well as songs from her “Every Girl” EP. Finally was Melanie Fiona who shut down the stage as she always does. Once again proving why she’s one of the best female performers in r&b, she performed with an energy unmatched while singing hits from her first two albums. Roc Nation has always had a great reputation for developing great talent, and it looks like they’ve succeeded again.
