Pharrell Williams was tapped to produce the soundtrack for the upcoming groundbreaking film “Hidden Figures”, and he gives us a taste of one of the songs from there today. Check out Lalah Hathaway’s song “Surrender” which Pharrell produced and also is featured on background vocals for.
Over the throwback production, Lalah once again shows off her effortless vocals while Pharrell croons behind her throughout. The single is available digitally now, and “Hidden Figures” is set to premiere on Christmas Day.
In addition, Lalah Hathaway is currently busy on the road performing. She recently joined Eric Benet and Anthony Hamilton on tour and the three will continue doing shows throughout the rest of 2016.
