Powerhouse vocalist, Lauriana Mae, reveals “Protect Ya Neck” the first track from her forthcoming EP, City of Diamonds. “Protect Ya Neck” premiered on Complex earlier today, calling it “a melodic arraignment…her track samples the classic 90’s Wu-Tang hit and NYC’s Phli Hi Club creative Justin Rose comes correct with the equally nostalgic artwork.” The track was produced by Jack Splash (Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, CeeLo Green).
City of Diamonds follows the release of her Love Mae EP, on which she collaborated with producer Kwame (Christina Aguilera, Mary J Blige).
