On the track, bells accent soul-stirring piano as Rae’s dynamic vocals hover atop the beat. She flaunts her impressive range and storytelling across the verses.
In addition, the cinematic music video brings the track to life on-screen. It unfolds like a quirky big screen comedy as the narratives of various characters entwine with moments of Rae performing behind the piano.
The new song is the follow up to previous hit single “Is It Worth It”.
The 26 year old Torrance, California native originally came to prominence for her songwriting and background vocal contributions to “Lockdown” by Anderson .Paak.
