In what comes as a surprise to most r&b fans, Tank has taken to his official Instagram account to announce that he has a new EP in the works. The project is to be titled “If You Were Mine” and is set to release on February 10th, just in time for Valentine’s day. His last album “Stronger” just released this past August, and the title track is still charting at radio, but Tank has expressed concerns about the support for real r&b artists like himself so it’s possible he’s moving on. If you take a closer look at the image Tank posted to his Instagram, it comes across as a message to “RealR&BFans”. This should hopefully squash the rumors that he was planning to abandon r&b for good. Check back on February 10th as we’ll surely support “If You Were Mine”.
