What we have right here is some very early Ginuwine material presumably from his time spent in Da Bassment Clique formed by DeVante Swing. Although Ginuwine never put out an album during his time there, this song is a remnant from that era. As the story goes, G was originally discovered by DeVante while attending an MC Hammer show and attempting to gain a live tryout. Other notable members of Da Bassment included Missy Elliott and her group Sista, Tweet and her group Sugah, Timbaland, and all three members of Playa including Smokey, Static Major and Black. We think its safe to say DeVante can be pretty proud at how his pupil’s career has turned out.
