Last night in NYC, in front of a packed house full of many of her biggest supporters, K. Michelle performed at B.B. King’s. The crowd, made up of many who have been supporting her from her time on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”, literally could not wait for her to hit the stage, and exploded with applause when she finally did. She began performing new music from her upcoming “Rebellious Soul” album as well as songs from her “0 Fucks Given” mixtape. A special treat was when she paid tribute to some of the real singers in r&b, covering Monica’s “Before You Walk Out of my Life”, Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down” as well as Mary J. Blige. She proved to us on this evening what we already knew about her, vocally she’s a beast, and the crowd was plenty receptive. She left her heart on stage for this show, giving us all she had to give as a singer.
