Last night at the Blue Note Jazz Club in NYC, Tank made a stop on his “Couple’s Retreat” Tour and performed two sold out back to back shows. Just like every time I’ve seen Tank perform live, he doesn’t fail to disappoint; in fact he seems to get stronger every year. His energy, stage presence and crowd interaction are impeccable, and probably the best you’ll find out of any r&b performer. When you come out to a Tank show, not only are you going to hear him sing, but you are going to leave feeling entertained. On this evening, he took the crowd through some of his hits throughout his career, including a special treat in performing “O” which he wrote for Omarion, and ending with a snippet of his new single “Next Breath”.

I performance was awesome as, all of his are. The venue was very intimate and I had a great seat and full view of the stage. He hit notes that made us women, wiggle in our seats. The interaction with the audience was great and everyone was fully into his performance. Even men there with their women were giving him props and enjoying themselves. He later took pictures with audience member and was every bit the gentleman that you would expect. Overall- a great performance, by a great man with an amazing voice !
