YouKnowIGotSoul presented another successful edition of Sol Village at SOBs last night, featuring Dondria, Lenny Harold, GoGo Morrow, Sonyae Elise and hosted by Eric Roberson. Lenny was the opener and was super impressive as he thrilled the audience with his booming vocals while he did his original music as well as his rendition of Floetry’s “Say Yes”. Sonyae came next and brought a ton of personality to the stage with a powerful voice reminiscent of Mary J. GoGo Morrow then came with a different aspect to the show, backed by her 4 background dancers, she gave the audience a great introduction to her pop/r&b sound. The final act was Dondria, the artist many in the crowd had anxiously waited for the whole evening. Hitting the stage with her new grown and sexy look, she performed her previous hits “Shawty Wus Up” and “You’re The One” before impressing with her new female empowerment anthem “Coat Tail”.
