The nominees for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards have just been announced, and we have our first look at the r&b categories. Despite the fact that the categories remain limited and typically air only during the pre-show, there is usually much intrigue to see who will get picked.
There are quite a few surprises this year, and it’s goood to see a bunch of different independent artists highlighted for their work. Although it may seem predictable for most, it will be interesting to see who takes the awards when the show airs February 12th, 2017.

BJ had a solid year this year so good to see him dominate this years R&B nominations. I really hope though that Paak and Terrace Martin win their respective categories, they dropped masterpieces this year.
It’s funny how BJ and Fantasia are competing in the same category with the same song..
