One of music’s biggest nights of the year is tonight, as the 2017 Grammy Awards will be televised. If you’re visiting this site, you, like us, probably care most about the r&b categories.
This year just like the past few years, the winners for the r&b categories were announced during the pre-show that is streamed online and not televised. So far, four of the five categories have been announced, and you can see the results below. Congrats to Lalah Hathaway, Solange and Maxwell.
Also in case you missed it, here is our list of the biggest r&b snubs for the 2017 Grammy Nominations. In a recent podcast, we also looked back on how 2016 in r&b really was not Grammy worthy as a whole.
