Usher gives us a listen to his contribution to “The Hamilton Mixtape” with the song “Wait for It”. The song is actually his interpretation of Aaron Burr’s headline song during the stage play, and you can hear Usher pour his soul out on the heartfelt ballad.
The song of course sounds nothing like Usher’s recently released album “Hard II Love”, which featured more trendy elements of production, but it was not intended to.
“The Hamilton Mixtape” is set to release on December 2nd, 2016 and was Executive produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Craig Kallman, Riggs Morales and Ahmir Thompson & Tarik Trotter for The Roots.
