PJ Morton surprised us all earlier this week when he announced the release of an upcoming project called “The Piano Man”. Well we didn’t have to wait long for the album to arrive and it’s now available to stream.

The concept of the album is that PJ recorded it in one night alongside a bunch of his musician friends with just their voices and a piano. You definitely know you’re in for a special treat if you’ve heard his first acoustic project “Gumbo Unplugged” from 2018/a>.

He gave us a taste of what to expect on this album with the live visual for “Say So” with JoJo. That song was originally a single from his latest album “Paul” and eventually went on to win a Grammy Award.

Other guests on “The Piano Album” include Alex Isley, Rapsody, and The Walls Group. Songs on this album span the course of his career with the originals included on previous projects.
