We got off to a great start to 2016 in R&B with a strong month of February. Over the course of the month, r&b heavyweights like Tweet, Brian McKnight, SWV and Mya, and newcomers like BJ the Chicago Kid, Lion Babe, and King, all released strong albums.
As the calendar flips to March, we should be in for yet another strong month with some of r&b’s top artists releasing their albums. Here are the artists who are currently scheduled to put out an album during March and the release date for each.
Jaheim returns in 2016 with his first independent album since leaving Atlantic Records. “Struggle Love” is his seventh album overall and features the singles
“Back in my Arms” and the
title track.
R&b group Silk return after a 10 year hiatus with their new album “Quiet Storm” in 2016. The group is back with all five original members, and they’ve
released the first single “Love 4 U 2 Like Me”. We

Soul star Anthony Hamilton just announced his new album “What I’m Feelin”, his first since “Back to Love” in 2011. The new album is
led by the single “Amen”.
Reality TV star K. Michelle is getting ready to release her third album “More Issues Than Vogue” in March. She’s already given fans a taste of the album with a few different songs including the
Kelly Price penned “Not a Little Bit” and
“Aint You”.
